To promote and provide playing opportunities to individuals at all abilities and ages and to enhance the sporting experience of club members.

The club will foster the growth and development of football in West Hallam and surrounding villages, providing learning opportunities in a safe, equitable and child friendly environment.

To provide football within West Hallam by creating an environment where all individuals can play recreationally and competitively whilst maintaining a safe, child friendly and equitable environment.

Providing opportunities for all players to reach their potential. West Hallam Juniors are committed to providing the best possible environment for our players to reach their maximum playing potential through excellence in coaching and support.

Our Ethos:

  • Provide an environment where young players can express themselves and enjoy their football, development and tutoring.

  • Provide football training which systematically develops in our players, the key football attributes of technique, ball skill, and football intelligence.

  • Provide players with a clear pathway to senior football.

  • Develop players as responsible people with an awareness of their responsibilities to each other with mutual respect and respect for all.

  • Develop and teach the players to understand the benefits to be gained in a healthy lifestyle, diet, drug awareness, education and codes of conduct.

  • Develop relationships with parents, schools and other professional organisations that are concerned with the needs of young people both individually and collectively.

  • Develop well rounded young players through the proper football environment which teaches respect, humility, integrity, reward through effort and fair play at all times;

  • Respect the rights and dignity of every player regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

  • Support all efforts to remove physical and verbal abuse from sporting activities.

  • The administration of our football club will be professional, transparent and fair; all duties will be carried out honestly and with integrity.

  • We will care for the environment in which we play both home and away.

  • We will be part of the community in which we play and to this end co-operate and support other sporting clubs where possible.
